The adapter has a 25 foot cable for flexibility of long distance installation, and/or for tidy wiring along baseboards and moldings.
Installation is a breeze with non-polarity pins allowing each pin to be connected to any terminal (so no mistakes). Simply install any pin to the “C” terminal and “RC” terminal (in furnace/boiler only wiring setups) or “RH” (in cooling systems), plug adapter into outlet and power up; for Ring wifi doorbells, either pin can be installed around either terminal

Worked all of 5 min we got the item and tried it out and it worked so we decided to run the wires from the basement to the outside. When we plugged in the ring doorbell pro it didn’t power up but we left it all night long and still no power. I wanted to return it but my son already ordered another one (from another company) and cut the wire and left it in the wall so we could use it for the new one that was ordered. He opened it up to test it and only 1V was being sent via the unit to the wires. Its a shame…
Great product! Worked great; install took all of 10 minutes. I have a furnace only system only using the W and R terminal. I connected the adapter to the C terminal and the RC terminal (both unused), plugged in, and my thermostat powered up with no issues. This saved me a few hundred on an electrician!
