Replacing a broken unit… Just purchased a house which had the same thermostat setup. The original thermostat broke after we just painted the walls, so it was easier just to replace the unit since the base was the same. This unit is good enough for us. This is the worst thermostat ever Don’t buy! This is the worst thermostat ever. The LCD screen freezes so you can’t change the temperature. The thermostat doesn’t measure the temperature properly. I had to replace thermostat with the same model since my husband was gone. It’s been one month and I have to replace it again.
