Works very well! I bought this thermostat for my den, which has electric baseboard heat. The original thermostat looked like it was 30 years old; instead of a dial with temperatures, it had one ranging from 0 to 4. Getting the room to a comfortable temperature was impossible.This thermostat is simple to use and is VERY good at keeping the temperature steady. It is also silent. Programming it is pretty straightforward. I should mention that you cannot set completely distinct temperatures for each time…

These units do not always power up after a power outage. Annoying, read why. I received 7 of these units from Honeywell as replacements for otherprogrammable units I owned that were subject to a recall. I own the4000 watt versions.Basicly all my electric heat is controlled by one of these units.With the exception of my bathroom and laundry room.
