I have used similarly designed thermoses in the past, but the plastic stopper became a concern back when BPA was first being studies for its negative health effects. Solid construction, good seals I am very impressed overall with this thermos mug. The build is solid and sturdy with a good feel and weight to it. This came with a sippy attachment that screws in before the main lid and has a push button mechanism that opens and closes the seal. This is nice in that there is an additional seal before the main lid. This all but guarantees that this will not leak.
