Easy to install Easy to install. Wasn’t as easy to program your preferences as I thought it would be. I guess I’m just spoiled by Amazon and Apple products which all seem to just sync without any effort. After you setup the unit to your preferences it works fine. One complaint would be the limited Alexa commands. You can go to ecobee.com and get a list of commands, but I didn’t see any command that allows Alexa to reset ecobee to my scheduled preferences. I purchased two of these awesome thermostats. They are simple to setup and use I purchased two of these awesome thermostats. They are simple to setup and use. I love the ability to setup schedules and the ability to manage them remotely. I will be adding the remote sensors soon to manage two rooms in my house.

first impression I just installed the Ecobee 3 lite I did not want to pay $250 for a Nest this time around. I already own 4 Nest thermostats on one of my other properties and I like them. My observation, the instructions are very easy and the product is of great quality, in par with Nest. The manufacturer goes as far as giving you an extension dongle for your HVAC wiring if needed. great product so far and for less money.
