GREAT ITEM AT A GREAT PRICE ON AMAZON!!! After having my vacation trailer broken into and vandalized, among other repairs I needed to replace the original Duo-Therm heat-only wall thermostat for my 12-volt-powered forced air heater. The original Duo-Therm unit was no longer available (trailer is 33 years old), but this one was very low priced, VERY easy to install in a few minutes (comes with complete installation instructions), and worked great as a replacement.
Easy to install I took my old thermostat off the wall and installed this one with two wires. Red went to (R) and White went to (W). simple install. i turned it up and the heater cam on. Turned it down and the heater went off. I didn’t notice at first but the off location is all the way to the left. It has to click into position or you just put the setting all the way down and the heater will come on below 60. My mistake. just an FYI.
Comfortable and warm This is for our RV. Our old thermostat had a lot of issues. We now have a furnace that operates properly and even my feet stay warm. great product. Will recommend product and company to other RVer’s. Exactly on time as per order specified. Easy to installback plate is a nice accent. Numbers big enough to see. Works great. Thank you
