Great thermostat – auto temperature maintenance is key and hard to find This was exactly what I needed- a thermostat that worked with standard (4) wiring, with auto temp control (meaning, switches from cool to hot on its own if set to auto and schedule programmed), and easy to program. An added bonus I hadn’t expected was a large wall mounting bevel which nicely covered the existing hole much better than the previous thermostat, providing a sharp looking wall mounted thermostat.
Almost does what we wanted Seems to be a good t’stat, but has some short comings.
Full Featured for two stage HVAC systems This unit is designed for a two stage heater and two stage air conditioner, or a two stage heat pump. It can handle gas or electric heaters but it does not support humidifiers. There are many other options in the configuration menu but it takes the manual and some time to figure out some of them. The manual can also be found easily online. If this is replacing another thermostat then one important step is to either label each wire with the name on the terminal or write the color of the wire…
