Install this with the back of the thermostat ALREADY connected to the plate BEFORE you screw it into the wall. This did not come with any directions at all. It was just sent in an envelope. So I installed it onto the wall and put the screws into it. Then I realized that you have to put the back of the thermostat onto the wall plate FIRST and then screw both pieces into the wall.
Worked out great. Installed in less than a minute and didn’t … Got it together with sensi wifi thermostat to cover the uneven painting after the old thermostat. Worked out great. Installed in less than a minute and didn’t need to drill extra holes (the holes that is has are slightly longer so it can be matched easier to the old ones in the wall)
