Extremely Nice Modern Looking Thermostat….Not Perfect, But Really Good Overall I have been in the market for a wi-fi thermostat for a LONG time (like 3 years). My main wish list of features was:
Thermostat with WiFi The Emerson Sensi Touch Wi-Fi Thermostat looks good on the wall and works great. I like the fact that it can be part of a whole house system and I can control it with my Android. The setting and menu over all work intuitively and make sense. It was easy to program my daily heat and cooling schedule. It was much easier than any other thermostat that I have ever programmed.
A very nice wifi unit So far, so good with this Emerson Sensi Touch thermostat. My AC had a common wire, and I have to say – there is an ‘how to install’ video which the app links to, and the video is extremely well done, it actually made the whole wiring process very clear and easy to follow. Other than that, set up of wifi as well as schedule is straight forward and pretty simple to set up. The unit even has a nifty little ‘nightlight’ feature where the unit can be backlit and act like a small on-wall nightlight…
