Solid, cost-effective programmable unit. Although programming is a bit clumsy. This Honeywell RTH500D unit is a good thermostat. It does all the controls you need, and the installation directions are easy to follow. Programming is a bit clumsy. It has the somewhat loud click when the A/C cycles. But it saves you a lot of money.
