Works well with overhead gas garage heater I got this thermostat to use with a Mr. Heater 45,000 BTU gas heater from Northern Tool. The thermostat that was offered as an accessory with the heater had a range of 50-90 degrees. I want my garage just above freezing most of the time. I’ll turn it up when working in it. The Honeywell Low Temperature Garage thermostat is good match for my heater. I’ve found it makes a big difference on how much the heater runs with the thermostat set at 35 or 50, so this thermostat will save a lot of gas…
