Excellent Just installed one of these in a bathroom that normally stays very humid. You can program it to ventilate according to the size of your house, or you can set it to ventilate a certain number of minutes periodically. Perfect for what we needed.
Great product so far Bought this unit to provide background exhaust only ventilation and initially set it up for ventilation mode…after a couple of weeks that seems like too much ventilation. Allows you to set for custom duty cycle also so I have configured it this way. Also allows for override countdown mode which we use when showering.This was easy to install, and easy to program. No complaints so far and would be 5 stars but too early to tell for long term quality.
2 Failures I am quite surprised at Honeywells exhaust control’s lack of durability. After all, they do make aerospace products. I purchased this exhaust control on 06/17/2010. It failed on or before 02/10/2014 at which time the company quickly sent a new replacement. It failed again 8/3/2014 (countdown timer – fails to turn off exhaust fan). I travel a lot as a professional pilot and I do not like to put cheap parts in my home that I depend on to keep my family safe.
