FYI only – I bought this unit by mistake as … FYI only – I bought this unit by mistake as it is ONLY for heat pump applications. I called Honeywell. The packaging is a little misleading in that it states “compatible with heat pump systems”. No where on the box or instructions does it say DO NOT USE with conventional forced air gas/elec hvac systems.
