Simple, Accurate & Inexpensive I had this installed in a matter of minutes after receiving it. It comes pre-programed but the times and temps were not to my liking so I programed it and had it drop the two middle times so mine just has wake and sleep. Programing literally could not be easier. I don’t know why there are so many reviewers having trouble with the light-up display, mine is very bright. No auto changeover from heat to cool. The packaging and website both claim that the 6350D has auto changeover from heating to cooling. However, that is NOT the case. If you need this feature, buy the 6450 instead. On my second call to their support 800 number the representative informed me of this and offered a trade in by mail. I like it! To address Mr. Dave’s concern about the battery…I’ve been using battery powered thermostats for over 15 years and my experience has been that the batteries will last for years. This is my first Honeywell so I can’t comment on the exact amount of time the battery will last, but if you change the battery once every year as suggested in the instructions, you will never have a problem.
