Non-programmable, but a winner in my book. I got this thermostat about 3 weeks ago when my Rheem thermostat died. It was the only one the repair guy carried on his truck and I can see why. It works great, closely controlling temperature even if it has to switch from cool to heat mode. Easy operation and saves money by adapting to your house. It’s very flexible, works for gas furnaces and heat pumps. It even can deal with those heat pumps with alternate change over valve operation. Non-programmable, but a winner.

Does All I Need My last Honeywell thermostat in this series was programmable (and still working). I had no interest in changing temperature settings other than by hand. Problem is the controls are not intuitive (and the instructions are opaque) and it is very easy to unknowingly activate the default setback settings when pressing the various control buttons. If other people try to adjust the set temperature, it is almost guaranteed they will accidentally activate the pre-sets, resulting in a potentially…
