Silly Wifi and Network Restrictions Bought this and tried to set it up.1. Set up is not intuitive, device has a step to connect to wifi. Didn’t understand that this was the device broadcasting it’s own wifi signal until I talked through it with Jason from Honeywell support. Who I will hopefully never call again because he was extremely condescending about my struggles. I get it, but I’m a very tech savey person but this set up was not intuitive.2. Great product, deceptive seller! This is a great thermostat at a reasonable price and I am very pleased with it. Just don’t order from Dealgal! Myself and others have ordered this item and had a lower quality model shipped to them.
Great thermostat, easy to use, does the job as described. Works as described. It’s nice to be able to turn my thermostat on or off, or adjust the temperature, from wherever I am. If I wake up and I’m cold, I can reach for my phone and turn the heat up without having to get out of bed to go into the room the thermostat is in, and if I forget to turn it off when I leave the house, I can do that from literally anywhere, or turn it on when I am on the way home.
