A great product encumbered by a crummy marketing approach There is a lot to like about this thermostat. The display is bright, easy to read, and most functions on the unit are quite simple to program. The thermostat offers many different ways to be customized and it will likely will meet all of your needs. However, before you buy the thermostat, be sure that you feel confident programming it yourself. NO WARRANTY COVERAGE FROM HONEYWELL!!!! Bought this unit from another supplier about a year and a half ago. There are many things that I love about this thermostat. Easily read, great programming options, wireless remotes, and more. Recently the temperature readout has become erratic making the thermostat useless. Honeywell advertises a 5 yr warranty on this unit and provides a number to call for service. I called and was told that the unit can only be returned to the contractor that installed it.
