Simple as Pie to install yourself…. I say simple as pie to install yourself if one you know how to make a pie and two that you are willing to read alittle outside of the box for the installation.I chose the Honeywell system over about 3 others that I spent time on Amazon and Google reading about. I originally was looking at the Ecobee system. One main thing that stopped me was the remote stats that I wanted to have on the system. The outdoor temperature and outdoor humidity stat would have required me to pull wire…
Works great- installation easy If you are reasonably handy (if you’ve every re-wired a light fixture for example) you can do this.I ordered this unit with some concern since it is listed as “professional install”, but after taking the plunge I found the actual installation pretty simple.The biggest issue is getting the wiring correct. I’m pretty handy with a hammer and saw, but wiring diagrams aren’t my thing. That being said, I was able to hook the whole thing up in about 2 hours. If I did it again…
