Good thermostat for the money What’s good:
Very nice thermostat, easy to install, set up and use, highly recommended! I bought this thermostat for my parents house. It was quick and easy to set up on their wifi. It should be noted, when looking for the app it may not be the first one to pop up. If I remember right, it was called Lux Products, not Lux Geo. It was a little confusing because the directions tell you to look for Lux Geo app, but I think anybody who is tech savy enough to be using a smart phone to run their thermostat should be able to figure it out.
High end WIF Thermostat without the High End Price 30 years of experience in the HVAC wholesale supply business has given me ample opportunity to buy, sell, program and install hundreds of different thermostats. the newer wifi thermostats like NEST and the Honeywell Lyric are nice thermostats, but for the features you get versus the price you pay for them i’d have to say the LUX GEO wifi is the one to go with. the geo-fencing works perfectly with the IOS or Android app. the connection to your cell phone can detect whether you’re getting closer…
