The bi It has a huge display and large numbers. Display will light up when you touch any button. It evenhas its own light switch which is on top the unit. Very easy to install to the wall. Very easy to set up or to program. It has a 24-Volts common wire terminal that means the unit can be powered by a 24 volts transformer which was already installed inside your furnace, that means you will never have to replace those 2 AA dead batteries again.

I like it. I had a T701 installed by my builder and I wanted to upgrade to a programmable thermostat. I found this one to be the exact same size as my T701 and the wiring did not need changing. I literally removed my T701 and put the T805 on and it works flawlessly. Since it was this easy for me, I cannot speak to ease of installing or wiring. I would definitely recommed this as an affordable way to get a programmable thermostat without spending $300 on a NEST. I power mine with batteries.
