Great Product- easy to use This thing is so easy to program and reset that it’s practically blonde proof, and I should know being blonde myself, and not so handy…… Great thermo that works well, and best of all, it isn’t noisy. This replaced a high end thermo that made the worst racket while turning on and off, so much so that it interrupted sleep (which is a huge no-no), thus this replacement that I’m more than happy with at a fraction of the cost!
So far so great! I really wanted to find a thermostat that would allow me to change some of the parameters, like temp differential and this RobertShaw value series thermostat fits the bill. I replaced a touch screen Honeywell that just kept the AC on for what seemed like forever even after achieving set temp. This new thermostat came in a easy to open box, with all the necessary instructions. The size of the unit is not too big, so the footprint on the wall is minimal, much smaller then the Honeywell unit…
Do not buy this product Purchased this product because I wanted the vacation set back mode and 2 stage heat control. First unit arrived and was DOA. Second unit arrived. I installed it and second stage heat control did not seem to work correctly. I called customer support and they said it sounded like a defective product and I needed to return to where I purchased it (Amazon). I contacted Amazon to return and I was told it was past 30 day return window so I could not return it to them. Manufacturer said I would…
