Great, but I wish the receiver was AC-powered. Five stars for the seller…4 for the product. I like the Skytech products. Originally, I bought a model 1410-TH, which was great, except for one thing. The SWING (temperature differential at which the unit turns on or off when in thermo mode) is hardwired at +/- 2 degrees, which means the room temperature fluctuates FOUR degrees, which is very uncomfortable. very satisfied with this remote I purchased this remote to use with a new set of gas fireplace logs and it works flawlessly. It has 3 simple modes – on, off and thermostat. The fireplace turns itself off and on when it gets within 2 degrees of the desired temperature. You can set it and ignore it which is exactly what I was looking for. My brother set this unit up very quickly and mounted the remote without a hitch. I do not use the the auto progamming so I can’t speak to the ease of using that feature. I did take the…
This is the wired model! I would expect this Skytech remote to work as well as others I have used but cannot say for certain because I returned it untested. I was in a hurry when I ordered it and verified that the remote Ihad the features I wanted but didn’t realize it was a wired model, not wireless.
