Oh, What a Relief it Is – Especially for our Home-Alone Pets This little gadget is a godsend. I work at home half the time and normally commute to a friend’s the other half, but have to cut into my working hours there during the worst part of summer (Jul-Aug-Sept) in order to come home around three or four pm in order to cool the house down for our cats. Then my collaborator and I have to work an extra hour at night to make up for lost time.
We have and love our Nest product so when I read about TADO … Tado is filling a very neglected market in the USA. We have and love our Nest product so when I read about TADO being able to control Split Ductless AC units I was very excited. Split ductless has been used in Europe for much longer because of their construction techniques and ability to integrate into older homes.
Great for someone with a flexible schedule The geolocation function was the reason I bought tado°. I’m a freelancer and move between my home and workplace pretty frequently. It just annoyed me that my AC had to be on most of the day, wasting energy. I tried using a programmer but because my hours are so irregular it didn’t help much, I just didn’t want to think about my cooling anymore. So far tado° has delivered just as promised and I’m excited to see my next energy bill and how much I have saved!
