Install service I’m not an electrician and although I could probably figure it out, I like to hire professionals for anything that could potentially burn my house down, cause a flood or involves handling toxic substances. Anyway, we needed a new thermostat and I noticed the option to have it installed selectable right through Amazon.
Never again… This was my first and last time using Amazon’s Home services. I created this account specifically for my mother to have ease of use. Nothing about the service was ease of use. A thermostat for the smart home The technician arrived on schedule and completed the replacement very quickly. Very happy with the results. The Sensi Thermostat was easy to configure. Once I downloaded the app to my smart phone I was able to program a heating schedule to my liking. Then, I enabled the Sensi skill in Amazon’s Alexa app. So, now I can program the thermostat itself, use the Sensi application, or using voice commands to control the temperature using Alexa.
