High quality, well designed, flexible programmable thermostat I was looking to replace five of the typical, round Honeywell thermostats in our home with programmables. After a bit of research I chose the 90 series White-Rodgers. This thermostat was among those recommended by Consumer Reports. Look great and easy to use. First time replacing a thermostat.Compared several units on-line and bought this one mainly on looks. I love the large blue screen. Easy install, works well, keep temp constant (reduces large flucuations in room temp), attractive design a few down sides….screen is dark until you touch one of the control icons, but once you touch a control icon to light the screen so that it is easily visible you have begun a program change such as temp change up or down, fan on off, etc..the other down side is that if you run a hold program and adjust the time to reset to original programming then that new time delay becomes the new hold program delay.
