I found the internal sensor was affected by the heat given off by the unit and was not accurate but the external probe worked fine for room temperature This is for floor or baseboard heat (120 or 240 volts). It says it can work on a load of 16 amp for electric heat. It only reads in Celsius temp. It will connect to your house WiFi and can be controlled remotely, anywhere with internet access. Installation is not difficult. The hot wires connect to one side and the load or baseboard to the other. The unit that goes into the electrical box in the wall is 2â x 2â.
