A Real Improvement. Once you figure It out. Works great except the heating temperature shut-off is always 2 degrees higher then set. The thermostat itself is easy to install but without on-line instructions with pictures from other buyers it is near impossible to to figure out the receiver kit hook-up. A little tricky to install but works great! I was a little hesitant to attempt the installation myself but glad I did. As warned, opening up my Mr. Slim was more difficult than installing the thermostat. The Mr. Slim cover came off okay but getting to the control board to plug in the wireless controller was a little tricky but doable. Now that its in I have a greater range of temperatures for both heat and cooling than available on the small handheld unit that came with the systems. Works well, easy to install. Compatible with ceiling Recessed P-Series units Installed with PUZ-A24NHA4 and PLA-A24BA4 units. The instructions were extremely vague about how to mount the transmitter in ceiling recessed unit (only had pictures for wall-mounted units). The solution is to not mount it at all. It’s so light and small, you can just leave it in the ceiling next to the unit on top of insulation (or mount it to a beam if you really feel the need).
